QUALITY OFFICER

DESCRIPTION

In this position you are active in a broad domain, whereby safeguarding quality is a core activity. As such you do not only conduct internal audits, you also ensure that existing certificates are extended on a timely basis. A methodical and structured way of working is a primary prerequisite. Because Beele Engineering has to maintain its reputation relating to quality, you are alert to quality developments and you submit proposals for improvement where necessary. These proposals as much as possible are of a practical nature.

 

As Quality Officer, you occupy an independent position that gives you a great deal of freedom, but also places high demands on initiative and meticulousness. Where possible you maintain and improve the quality assurance of production and the test laboratory and provide for continuous product quality control. Where necessary, you submit improvement proposals. In addition, you make a contribution to various initiatives, such as the quality manual and production procedures. You manage the regular audits conducted by external certification institutes and ensure they are dealt with on a timely basis. Hereby it is important that you are capable of communicating with people at different levels.

 

Prerequisites for this position

  • Demonstrable knowledge of quality systems, including the ISO 9001
  • Senior secondary vocational education or higher (MBO+) thinking and working level
  • Meticulous, punctual and driven
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently
  • Knowledge of administrative processes
  • Communication skills at divergent levels
  • Mastery of the Dutch and English language
  • Experience in the rubber and/or plastics industry is preferred
