Description

In this position, you have a major responsibility for managing and directing our production department, which consists of various components. In addition, you are the first point of contact for all matters related to production. You know how to combine your sense of responsibility with a hands-on mentality. You participate in the production process, which means you have excellent insight into the order production progress, set the right example and understand your production team. You have experience running a production department and possess the necessary knowledge of production machinery. In part on this basis, you are capable of making decisions and having your department operate flawlessly.

You guide your production staff and manage them on the basis of production orders and schedules. To keep your work manageable, you record the order forms and, in addition, maintain a production administration system. As a member of a team you are capable of providing feedback at different levels and to work together on improvements.

Prerequisites for this position

• experience managing a department
• knowledge of machinery in a production environment
• ability to communicate well at different levels
• higher professional education/ university of applied sciences (HBO) thinking and working level
• hands-on mentality
• ability to work and make decisions independently
• knowledge of administrative processes
• experience in the rubber and or plastics industry is preferred
