Beele Engineering products are developed and tested in-house. The company also carries out its own engineering and production. The R&D centres play an important role in developing and testing products, but are also of major value for improving existing products or for simulating practical situations for and with customers.

As a laboratory worker you are going to contribute to all of these activities. You construct tests on the basis of testing programmes provided to you and to which you also make your own contribution. The tests vary from fire tests to testing tightness, tensile strength or material composition. You conduct these tests independently and look after the associated administration. Following completion, you prepare detailed and accurate reports and maintain a high-quality administrative system. The associated tests are a fixed component of the reports.

Prerequisites for this position

• higher professional education/ university of applied sciences (HBO) thinking and working level
• Experience in independently making preparations for and performing tests
• Knowledge of and experience with report preparation
• Capable of working independently, as well as a member of a team
• Meticulous and punctual
• Sufficient inventiveness to be able to also resolve unusual problems
• Knowledge of administrative processes and experience with MS Office
• Technical draughting skill or prepared to learn this skill on an accelerated basis
• Mastery of the Dutch and English language
• Chemical knowledge, preferably in the rubber industry, is preferred
