Leaking transits are a problem in buildings and installations. Attempts to stop the leak often end without success. The consequences of leakages are significant: as well as the immediate damage, the leaking transit can also cause substantial corrosion damage. This is prevented with AQUASTOP.

AQUASTOP to seal leaking pipe and/or cable transits

AQUASTOP is a special mouldable rubber used to seal leaking pipe and/or cable transits, for example in pumping stations. Even when water is flowing through the transit it is possible to successfully seal it using AQUASTOP. To apply the seal, NOFIRNO filler sleeves are first installed in the transit opening around the pipes and/or cables. These constitute the 'carriers' for a layer of AQUASTOP, which can be finished with a layer of NOFIRNO sealant, if required. Combining AQUASTOP in this way with the fire resistant NOFIRNO system creates not only a watertight solution, but one that is firesafe as well.

AQUASTOP - Flexible and mouldable rubber

AQUASTOP is a mouldable rubber manufactured from a silicone polymer to prevent contamination occurring in groundwater. The rubber is extremely adhesive and can be applied to wet surfaces. The rubber can be moulded into the form required for the repair.
